Persistent Ubuntu web server provisioned automatically
SCComp completed another retained end-to-end VPS deployment, including customer assignment, guest verification, public IPv4 activation, and a working Nginx service.
SCComp completed a retained end-to-end provisioning test using the same administrator grant, worker, Proxmox, Cloud-Init, customer-device, credential, and VPS-router automation used by the production platform.
The platform selected the validated Ubuntu Server 24.04 image, allocated collision-safe compute and network resources, cloned and configured the VM on the customer-only network, and held readiness until QEMU Guest Agent verified the hostname and assigned private address. The network workflow then allocated a public IPv4 address and reconciled the one-to-one, source-NAT, inbound-access, and outbound-mail policy across the redundant VPS router pair.
Nginx was installed and enabled inside the guest. Testing confirmed the private gateway, public egress identity, public HTTP response, customer-panel ownership, encrypted temporary credential record, browser console entitlement, power controls, and repeated idempotent router reconciliation. The background network worker remains deliberately stopped; this deployment used a scoped one-shot reconciliation after guest readiness was established.
