Multi-plan VPS checkout and network validation expanded
All four VPS tiers now pass production checkout, pool/VLAN placement, guest readiness, public NAT, and exact bandwidth-limit checks.
SCComp exercised the real customer ordering path in Stripe test mode across every public VPS size and multiple Linux images. The first matrix produced retained VMs 906–909, and a second CustomerLow validation produced VM 910. Automatic cloning, Cloud-Init identity and addressing, QEMU Guest Agent readiness, vmbr20 placement, public IPv4 mapping, and the advertised network limits all passed.
The network limits were verified in Proxmox's required megabytes-per-second units: 12.5 MB/s for 100 Mbps, 31.25 MB/s for 250 Mbps, 125 MB/s for 1 Gbps, and 250 MB/s for 2 Gbps.
This test also exposed and corrected a browser-console delivery issue: the general web request limiter could reject some concurrently loaded noVNC modules. Console assets now use a dedicated bounded allowance, and authenticated console WebSocket establishment has been revalidated.
The next isolation matrix confirmed that SCComp's CustomerLow, CustomerMed, CustomerHigh, and CustomerVeryHigh policies have separate VLAN and private-address definitions. Completion of the final three deployments is waiting on the automation identity receiving equivalent, narrowly scoped audit and allocation access to the existing Proxmox pools; the API currently returns permission-denied responses for those scopes. The public catalog was returned to its known-working configuration while that prerequisite is addressed. All test records and completed VMs are being retained for operator review.
Update: the required pool and SDN permissions are now in place. The production catalog permanently maps the $8, $14, $30, and $60 plans to CustomerLow, CustomerMed, CustomerHigh, and CustomerVeryHigh respectively, with separate VLANs 50–53. Retained VMs 907–909 were moved to their correct pools, and the retained medium/high/very-high orders resumed without duplicate clones as VMs 911–913.
All four tiers passed live pool-membership, vmbr20, VLAN, hostname, private-address, public-NAT, SMTP-policy, public TCP/22, and bandwidth configuration checks. The configured Proxmox limits remain 12.5, 31.25, 125, and 250 MB/s for the advertised 100, 250, 1000, and 2000 Mbps plans.
