Public inquiry abuse protection prepared
Layered application safeguards are ready for SCComp public support and sales inquiries, reducing automated abuse while keeping legitimate customer requests straightforward.
SCComp has completed application-level hardening for the public support and sales inquiry workflow. The update adds several independent checks for automated abuse while preserving useful validation feedback for legitimate visitors and avoiding a mandatory CAPTCHA by default.
The controls are designed for a hosting provider: ordinary technical language, server details, IP addresses, domains, and a normal troubleshooting link remain valid content. Automated or repeated submissions can be discarded before they reach the request queue or generate staff notifications.
The release also improves privacy-conscious operational logging and makes accepted inquiries clearer in the administrator request view. The application changes have completed automated and render testing and are staged for a controlled service activation.
