Monthly dedicated GPU servers added to the catalog
Physical GPU systems can now be listed and ordered as monthly bare-metal servers while hourly on-demand GPU capacity remains a separate future service.
Two clear GPU service models
SCComp now distinguishes monthly physical GPU servers from the future hourly accelerator platform. A dedicated GPU system is listed as bare metal: one customer rents the complete physical server for a monthly price. The on-demand GPU catalog remains reserved for future capacity billed by the hour.
Dedicated hardware specifications
Bare-metal listings can publish the installed GPU model, number of cards, and VRAM per card alongside CPU, memory, storage, networking, location, stock, and setup information. Customers can filter and sort bare-metal inventory by GPU count and see a clear “Dedicated GPU · Monthly” label.
Ordering and management
Monthly GPU servers use the established reviewed bare-metal order process. The selected accelerator configuration is carried into the sales order and notifications. Once assigned, the server continues through the existing customer device and supported iDRAC browser-management workflow.
Existing inventory
The Dell Precision Rack 7910 remains listed at its existing monthly price and stock level. SCComp did not guess an installed GPU model or VRAM amount; those fields can now be completed by an administrator from verified hardware inventory.
Accurate GPU labeling
Dedicated-GPU labeling is based only on a configured GPU model or positive card count. Legacy empty placeholders were normalized, so ordinary bare-metal servers do not display the badge or accelerator specifications. The configured Precision Rack 7910 remains identified as the current monthly GPU-equipped system.
