Live resource monitoring for VPS and physical servers
Customer device pages now provide current Proxmox VM utilization and supported iDRAC hardware telemetry through protected, account-scoped interfaces.
Live VPS usage
Customers can now see current CPU utilization, memory consumption, power state, uptime, and active Proxmox node from their VPS device page. The display refreshes automatically so resource demand can be understood without opening a support request.
Safe monitoring design
• Every request is authenticated and checked against the managed-device owner.
• Short-lived caching and bounded polling reduce load on the Proxmox cluster.
• Measurements are delivered with private, no-store response controls.
• Protected VM 915 remains explicitly excluded from monitoring calls.
• Temporary upstream failures produce a clear unavailable state without exposing infrastructure details.
Physical-server telemetry
Assigned bare-metal systems now show the readings their iDRAC controller exposes through Redfish, including system health, power state, current power draw, inlet temperature, and installed memory. Live operating-system CPU and RAM utilization is marked unavailable when the controller does not provide it, rather than presenting an estimate as measured data.
Network-provider groundwork
A fail-closed ColoCrossing integration boundary and protected configuration surface are in place for future reverse DNS and null-route capabilities. Provider changes remain disabled until the account-specific API endpoint and authentication contract are received and verified.
Operational status
The feature was validated against Proxmox VM 902 and iDRAC 10.1.100.22. Customer ownership isolation was tested, the web service is healthy, VPS provisioning remains active, and the OPNsense network worker remains intentionally stopped.
