Expanded VPS operating-system catalog
Twelve additional boot-tested cloud images are now integrated with SCComp provisioning, bringing the validated catalog to thirteen operating-system choices.
SCComp expanded the VPS image catalog with Ubuntu Server 22.04 LTS, Debian 12 and 13, AlmaLinux 9 and 10, Rocky Linux 9 and 10, CentOS Stream 9 and 10, Fedora Cloud 44, openSUSE Leap 15.6, and Arch Linux. Ubuntu Server 24.04 LTS remains the default.
Every image came from its official distribution source, passed image-integrity checks, and was prepared with Cloud-Init and QEMU Guest Agent support. Disposable Proxmox guests then verified real boot behavior, requested-hostname application, agent readiness, and placement on the customer-only vmbr20 network. AlmaLinux 10 received a distribution-specific UEFI and SCSI Cloud-Init configuration after testing identified its firmware and config-drive requirements.
The website provisioning catalog, administrator image management, complimentary VPS workflow, and provisioning worker now accept only active templates in the reserved validated range. VMID 9000 remains excluded, customer VMs remain restricted to vmbr20, and network publication continues to wait for guest readiness.
