Customer server colocation requests are now available
Customers can submit server specifications for colocation and follow the resulting sales request from their account.
SCComp now has a dedicated colocation request page under the Hosting menu. Customers can describe their server model, rack size, quantity, estimated power draw, network ports, bandwidth, IPv4 needs, installation timeline, and remote-management requirements.
Each submission becomes a trackable sales request rather than an immediate purchase, giving the team room to verify rack space, power, network capacity, delivery details, and final monthly pricing. Accepted customer-owned hardware can now be recorded as a distinct Colocation device in the admin panel and shown in the customer device dashboard.
The request uses the platform’s existing CSRF protection, bot trap, authenticated account association, server-side field limits, and endpoint-specific rate limiting.
