Stripe-confirmed and administrator-granted VPS orders now feed a queue-based Proxmox workflow with strict readiness checks.
Provisioning pipeline
Eligible orders create durable catalog, sales, device, and job records. The worker allocates collision-safe VM identifiers, clones the validated Ubuntu Server 24.04 template, applies resources and Cloud-Init, connects customer networking through vmbr20, and waits for guest verification.
Readiness standard
A virtual machine is not marked ready merely because cloning completed. Hostname, guest address, gateway, interface, and QEMU Guest Agent results must agree with the requested state.
Complimentary grants
Administrators can grant a verified customer a zero-cost VPS, making the workflow useful for students, labs, and sponsored access without manufacturing a payment. The same provisioning safety checks remain in force.
Boundaries
VM 915 remains protected. Template 9001 is the approved source. Public-address automation remains separated from guest provisioning until its full validation gate is satisfied.
