Management

Open the assigned device and Bare-metal management. Authorization is account- and assignment-bound. Inventory reports model, service tag, processors, memory, storage, firmware, power, and health.

Power

Prefer OS shutdown. Power On starts the host; graceful shutdown requests a clean stop; reboot cycles it. Force actions can corrupt data and are last resorts.

Console

Launch from the device page, wait, and click to focus. Gray or black video may indicate power state, video-mode changes, or reconnection. Never share session links.

ISO media

Mount an approved ISO, choose one-time virtual optical boot, reboot deliberately, and watch console. Installers can erase disks. Eject media afterward.

Unavailable controller

Wait and retry once. Rapid refreshing adds load and rate limits. Open a ticket with device, timestamp, action, and exact error if persistent.
